Kristiansund BK has signed Danish defender Alexander Munksgaard Nielsen on a two-year contract. The 28-year-old defender comes from Banik Ostrava in the Czech Republic and has experience playing in Norway. He played 15 games for Aalesund in Eliteserien on a loan deal in the spring of 2023. Sportslig leder Eirik Hoseth is happy to have Munksgaard Nielsen on board. – It's a player we know from the time he played for AaFK in 2023, and we get in an experienced defender with offensive qualities in addition. He has the routine that we think the team needs, and he's a fine type who will contribute well to the team. A reference player that we hope and believe will lift the quality even further, says Hoseth. This is the seventh reinforcement KBK has made this winter. Earlier, Hrannar Snær Magnusson, Jesper Strand Isaksen, Heine Gikling Bruseth, Julius Mar Juliusson, Tobias Svendsen and Syver Skeide (on loan) have joined the club. Friday, KBK will play a training match away against Molde, and then the KBK team will go on a training camp in Marbella from Thursday 12 February.
