Kristiansund BK and Vålerenga Fotball have agreed on a loan deal for Promise Meliga (18). The deal runs until July 15 and Promise is ready to play in Sunday's Eliteserien match against Brann. – Promise is a skilled winger who can become a fan favorite in Nordmøre. He is a right-footed player with a good left foot, and will be a good replacement now that David Tufekcic is out with an injury. A very exciting player, maybe a bit like Broholm, says sports leader Eirik Hoseth in KBK, and thinks back to the successful loan period of Marius Broholm in KBK three years ago. Promise Meliga is from Nigeria, and will play with fellow countrymen Mustapha Isah and Wilfred George in KBK. He came to Vålerenga from Beyond Limits Academy and became a regular for the Oslo club when he turned 18 on August 21 last year. He has a contract with the Oslo club until 2029, and impressed against KBK in the famous 'four yellow cards' match at Intility in the fall, where he contributed strongly to the home team's comeback.
